Well didn't buy it bearing out in transmission and ball joints needed replacing low oil pressure basicaly been buying the body is all offered him 1500 hundred wouldn't go lower than 1800 though which couldn't blame him some sucker will buy it. Thanks for the info though guy- 6.9man

Ok looking at buying a 88 7.3 117k Only problem is that it smokes white with a hint of blue at maybe from the way it sounded over the phone only at idle not any other time and not all the time off and on but runs fine. Got new injectors and glowplugs. I'm thinking return lines leaking or...- 6.9man

mt 480 timing meter question
yes i used the long skinny dampener probe location. thanks for all the help. ill have to mess with the wires some and see if can get it going and if not try getting my money back- 6.9man

hi i just bought a snap on mt480 timing meter off ebay and tryed to use it today and first the degree meter worked but the rpm meter didnt work. well then i tryed messing with the magnetic crank sensor cleaning it and then it quit all together. so i pulled the luminosity probe out and blowed...- 6.9man

Open y-pipe or muffler delete?
open y pipe does give you quicker throttle response and a little more power but loud as all get out. and it will soot stuff up pretty good but nothing a car wash or pressure washer wouldn't take off i reckon- 6.9man
