How much money should I require back for this POS!
Good ones are hard to find here too. The 1 ton I just bought has some problems! I drove the thing three or four times and climbed all over the thing before I bought it. I drove it for a couple of weeks, played with a few little things here and there, then one night on my way home and the damn...- 6.9guy

Trouble!!
Thats one ove the other things, it starts up and idles rough. The guy said he had injectors put in it, but I dont think he ever had the hood up. The IP is pretty new, I put in a return line kit (wasnt hardly any o-rings left). That helped a bunch. Weres a good place to get injectors?- 6.9guy

Trouble!!
Ok, so I got my new 94 one ton! But she needs some tlc. I have a knocking noise from the clutch area at idle. When I press in the clutch it goes away. Driving down the road its not there. There is more but I am going to get these figured out one at a time... Any ideas?:confused:- 6.9guy

Problems!!!
Leaving the filter. I have about 4-5 lbs of pressure there. The thing will run, but it takes forever, and ever cranking, wiating, cranking...- 6.9guy

turbo pedistal drain to intake gasket no longer avalible
The factory cdr gasket is a little larger. The turbo pedistal drain is slightly smaller than the cdr itself. So the wont interchange. It makes a giant oil mess! As for the wastgated/ non-wastgated differences, I am not shure. My turbo is a wastgated one off a '94. I have seen an older...- 6.9guy

Problems!!!
Ok, so I get in my '85 and fire it up. It sarts on the first spin, runs for a few seconds, then dies... I have replaced every return line hose, all the o-rings, the valve core on the filter housing, and double checked every steel line. My filter is new as well as my glow plugs. Maybe an IP...- 6.9guy

Another cold start thread.......
My 85 does act almost the same. But it will start up and run for a few seconds then die. When i try and restart it, it justs cranks and cranks. Sometimes it takes a while to restart other times not so long, but it seems I always have to give it some throttle.Could this be an air leak as well?- 6.9guy

Rebuild kit for Air Research turbo used in ATS kit?
Yeah, I called ATS about the factory turbo I put on my 85 and they seem to not wan't to help at all. I had to order the valley pan grommet from a local shop. I also bought a garret rebuild kit from them. Another good place to send turbos is to Bell Turbos out of Oregon. The have good service...- 6.9guy
