Ok folks the long awaited meet is back in action.

When: February 27th and February 28th. Arrive on Friday and leave on Sunday Morning.

Where : Ramada Inn
3855 Indiana 127
Angola, Indiana. 46703
260-665-9471

We will have the conference room for both nights

mention you are with MOB or Midwestern Oilburners Group to receive the discount and to have your room placed in the vicinity of the conference room.

They have a pool so remember to bring your swim suits.
The hotel also has Damon's attached to it so we don't even have to leave to get something to eat.

I've never attended a meet like this and was wondering what goes on. I see swimming and eating are listed. Is it just a way we all can put faces with our screen names? Just trying to get a feel for what goes on so I can present it to the wife.. but again it depends on work load at that time if we can make it.

The winter get together is more about relaxing and spending time with good friends. We normaly just "hang out", chat snd enjoy the pool and the company. Many have been to more than one, including us. It is a really good time. There are many members that don't drive a diesel to this one. Rember we aree in the cold north....

Thanks towcat I've been to truck rally before back in my dodge power wagon days. Never been to a meet so was trying to figure out what the difference is .. But snicklas hit the nail on the head for my question. Not sure if I will bring the truck due to it needs front axle joints put in. But seems fine since I locked the front hubs. But again I only drive it very often or very far here lately.

Going to ask the wife if this sounds like a trip she would like to take??

And a few of us have been known to leave the confines of the hot tube and venture out into foot deep snow in single digit temps to form a polar bear bear club. LOL

Not sure we are gonna make it this year. Just don't have someone I can trust to keep both wood stoves in the house going and not come home to a smoldering foundation. The kids and the wifey unit aren't pleased about it either.

Sorry we are going to have to miss out on this get together. My youngest son has been sick and now my wife has caught something and feeling poorly.

Hopefully things will work out this Summer for the rally.

Ah man that sucks. But getting the family health up is more important so I understand. So we will be looking forward to meeting you and the family in Nashville this July.
