SNOW TACKLER!
This was posted on my military forum classifieds and I told the owner I would post it over here to help get rid of this massive machine.
It is an M-55A2 mid 60s model 5 speed Spicer 6000series tranny w/ LDS -465 multifuel engine (170hp 420ftlbs)
It runs, but has no brakes. The truck was a winch truck, but the winch/bumper/extensions are gone. The PTO is still there though. The engine is a LDS engine and runs. I've driven it around the yard in 1st gear. I know there are air leaks. Also the main electrical switch is out right now. But it can be jumped easily. It weighs at least 22K lbs, so it's worth over $2500 in scrap. But I'd much rather see it saved than hauled off. I'll take $2100 for it. Located in Buchanan, GA. The bed is 20ft long itself. He would take $1750 for it before January 1st so act fast. It could easily be driven, or towed. but have a big trailer.
There are not many of these trucks around and they can do some serious pulling.
He would also trade for gooseneck trailers or things that go boom, boom. PM me for the contact information.
