This is one cool suitcase welder, I would keep it but I have a nice Miller unit.

This welder converts your stick welder into a nice wire mig machine, just tie it to your power supply hook up the gas and weld away, the cheepest way to own a wire welder.

This machine was made by Horbart, included is a new flow meter, a new roll of .035 wire, 25 feet of gas hose, the gun has new tip and nozzle.

Just look at the pics. $800, new these machines sell for $1,600

Looks sweet! Didn't notice any settings for burn back?

Is the amp range limited to the DC stick machine you connect it to---ie: say a Lincoln 225 buzz box etc....?

Judging from the one pic where you have the stinger from the stick welder connected to the power lug, can it also just direct plug into a female lug connector, such as on a Bobcat 225?

Yes you just hook to any buzz box, mine is an old Sears, 140 DCmax, the welds in the pics I ran on 105 amps, the plate was one inch thick and had good penetration.

It can be run on CC or CV, there is a switch for that.

You can hook it to the power supply any way you want, it has a male twist lock connector, I just took the stinger and clamped it to the twist lock.

That is what is so cool about it, you are not limited by your stinger lenght of your mig gun, just pick up the suitcase and move it around your work.

The gun is six feet long with the machine.

Burn back must be built in the SCR relay and electronics, I did several welds and never had an issue.
