Snow Fighter???

so this is what I need due to my foot "slipping" off of the clutch at 3k rpms with only my front driveshaft in in 4x4.

I'm assuming theres no difference but it says "snow fighter" in the title and I'm not sure what that means. Just wanting to make sure this is gonna fit my rig before i spend the 150 on it. Can someone fill me in on the snow fighter stuff and if theres a difference?

From what I just read Snow Fighter was an option on an F-250 that gave you a Dana 60 front axle but that was in 1978. I would double check what it came off of first. Ask the seller to be a little more sure.

Yep - that is exacty what the "snow fighter" was. My 1978 F250 had the "snow fighter" package with a D60 up front.

$200+ is pretty steep IMO to be putting into a D50. I'd be putting that money and labor towards a D60. But yes, ignore the snow fighter there was no such package. That looks like a stock D50 shaft to me. and that's what he claims it is. He does give measurements to check against your broken piece.

damn that would be nice. Yeah it looks like what i have. Ive had the axle out before when i did ball joints and thats what it looked like if i remember right. And yeah i wish i could do a dana 60 swap, but im a high schooler and dont make tons of money haha. thanks for the input guys.
