Repairing the broken down passenger side with a replacement dash.

Found some money, a pen from Nevada, and a .38 special bullet hiding in there!

At LAST!

I have completed removing the Rhino liner from the areas that I needed to. Now need to sand, fix dents and primer it all. Oh plus remove the bed from this truck and put the donor truck one on. I thought I would share a photo of my muffler and turn down pipe. I know electrical wire is a hack way to do it, But it works for now so I can figure out which way it sounds the best.

^^^^^ Half-ton's got a flat.... ;Poke

Yep it has 2 flat tires. It just a donor truck I'm surprised they all are not flat since they are dry rotted and split. It sat for 6-7 years in a barn due to reverse going out. I installed a pedestal sink for my brother in-law and he gave me the truck as payment. At that time I didn't have my CC and was planning on fixing it.

The wife decided to tie the dogs rope to it so he can be out side with me while I'm working on something.

In my county dogs have to be on a leash or fenced in yard and not left out past 11pm. It's a good rule in away I guess

I'll likely be tackling my first ZF5 rebuild. It was cheap enough to be worth getting as a core. I have a 460 ZF with a cracked case but otherwise worked great, so have spare parts or can do a gear swap. Engine was sort of a bonus that I don't need. Anyone need parts?

Are you breaking the engine up? If so I would take glow plug wires, if the connectors are good, and injector lines. Don't need them just would like spares

Did you have the single cylinder that cracks the crankcase?

Mine is one of those, but no crack as yet.

Yep. Mine didn't crack the block (I don't think anyway I haven't looked it over close) but I highly suspect the crank balancer is coming apart. It was really starting shake hard especially under load. Just shy of $700 to repower all in with the bigger twin. About half what a new one would have been.
