Very cool, thank you for the pictures. I wonder if it's big enough for a 1st gen Cummins.

How did the CXRacing 31x12x3 intercooler work out in your application? I have a rotary pumped 12V and looking for an intercooler that doesn't require much modification for an 86 F350 front end.

Why not run a water intercooler? I run one on my idi, almost zero piping so no lag and very little space under the engine bay. I'd imagine theres more room on the sides with a 12v too.

Then buy a good coolant pump, you can use the ford cobra one I used a Johnson one for $120, then a coolant tank for $20 and a roll of 3/4 heater hose. You can buy bigger ones, I run a bull moose and misters at only 7psi boost and have zero egt issues. I also record temp pre and post turbo and post ic and these things are so efficient. I have my ic radiator installed with dual electric fans and still my factory ac. Water/coolant are hundreds of times more efficient by volume at removing heat. 92f today egts at 60mph were 400f pre turbo Temps got up to 147f post turbo 180f and post ic 142. That's the highest I've ever seen post ic which I attribute to heat soak. Floored 0 to 65mph I might see 1000f egt blowing black smoke the whole way since I run reduced boost.

Does the intercooler run its own coolant then? Or are you using the engine coolant? Can you show how it's coolant is plumbed?

It runs its own coolant with own radiator. You can see the black hose leaving the intercooler on the right and going to a white coolant tank on right. It's pulled from the bottom of that with an 8gpm or so coolant pump a d pushed through the radiator where it's cooled, then through the right/bottom of that intercooler and out the left/top
