Those group 65s aren't that old. They won't face any issue lighting the dt. When it's mounted I'm going to see if I can fit a Taurus fan.

There will be a front crossmember and a mid crossmember for the track bar. The rear engine mounts will be on the adaptor plate and go to a mount on the frame.

Interesting project... So you'll have the front engine mount (the horse shoe), two mid mounts (on the adapter plate), one trans mount, and I'd venture a guess something for the 205 as well?

Also, when you do your crossmember, drop the trac-bar down some, I notice in one of your pics it was almost maxed out and that was with the engine still in place. Or, better yet, make it longer if you can, if it can match the length of the steering link hooked to the pitman arm that would be great.

Going to make a front cradle. Yeah, front cradle, track bar mount, rear mounts on each rail, stock zf crossmember, and a extra support for the 205. The front section of frame should be solid and the engine well never move.

Oh and yeah I plan on either dropping the crossmember for the track bar or extending it and catching the driver frame rail.

I'd just extend it to above the diff and behind the steering box - you'll have to get somewhat creative with the bends to clear both the diff and oil pan at full compression, but we've seen your work already and we know that won't really faze you one bit :D Besides you already have the extra suspension lift in the front, that should make things quite a bit easier.

How does the 366 compare to the IDI when it comes to weight?

Subscribed. I would love to do this swap one day, IH all the way in obs. The dt360 is a sweet engine, and honestly the engine ford should have used in our trucks, at least in my opinion

Scored this whole driveshaft (on the left) at the local junkyard for $150. It's off a 2000ish Chevy 3500 cab and chassis......it literally bolted in! Hahaha

Nice! Like the tcase mount. That a CX racing intercooler? I've been eyeballing them but I can't decide if I'm going 3" or 2.5". Space on the front of the Brick is pretty limited. I'll be curious to see how you deal with that. Are you keeping the AC?

Engine is out, time for a refresh welded some stuff on the frame and made the track bar bracket/frame brace. I didn't have enough solid stock to make it all the way across, and the C channel would hit the axle, so I came up with this.....
