If you have no voltage to either wire in the plug,it cant be charging.one wire goes to the light.the other should have power with the key on.

Did you wire the new plug correctly?

Found it... Blown fuse under the hood.
I swear I checked all of those fuses 37teen times throughout the day...

Also found a fuel leak at the fuel filter housing, fixed that and stopped what I thought was a rear main oil leak...

Good deal. Sometimes a bad fuse can slip by. Especially when there's three thousand of the things. Lol

Edit: makes me think something else could still be at fault. If the fuse was bad, shouldn't it have failed the test?

Yeah, I'll bet it was fuse #6 a 10 amp fuse.

When I posted that other circuit diagram, I was going to tell you to check that one, but forgot. But being 87 next week, my attention span is short.

I only have 2 wires going to the regulator. Both are light green/red.
One lights my test light up very bright, the other very dim.
Probably a bad wire?
