Default Sleeping under a ceiling fan

Does sleeping under a fan cause your sinuses to be stopped up the next day? It seems like whenever I sleep under a fan, the next day my head is stopped up bad. I can lean to one side and feel the drainage go to that side. Maybe its just me?

sounds like an allergy thing. It might be stirring up stuff that normally wouldn't be in the air. I sleep under a fan from time to time w/o problems like that. Mostly it is just annoying to have the hairs on my arm being tickled by the breeze
So there I was when I saw this long line. So I got in it and ended up here.

I have fairly severe allergies. No diffrence if I sleep under a fan or not. I prefer to, but everyone is diffrent. It is likely, but check a few allergy web sites, they may have somehting. Regards, Craig

Always sleep under a ceiling fan, don't believe it has ever been responsible for my sinuses acting up, just the weather and Ma' Natures wind do that . Oh, and I like the way it tickles the hairs on my back side!!

Any kind of draft, fan, or breeze, will cause my sinuses to flare up. If it wasn't for the methane emmisions, I'd sleep with my head under the covers.

Besides, when your all in, its easier to sneak up on the ole lady.

Yeah I know the feeling. My ol' lady farts too. But on other note, a ceiling fan gives me a sinus headache and an earache. I keep the a/c turned down cold in the house at night to keep the humidity down. I hate to sweat at night. Many many moons ago before we had a/c, I used a box fan in the winder to blow hot humid air on my all night trying to stay cool. I'm glad those days are long gone.

If anything the air flow should help the sinuses. Just my 2 cents.
