So the time has come to do head gaskets and cylinder inspection on my F150. I found some ARP Head studs for the mustang 5.0L model years 79-95. I am wondering if the engine blocks/heads are the same. I know the mustangs had different valve lift, cam, and computer on the later models. Just want to double check before I order them.

Month later, you buy them? They should work fine if you haven't already bought them. The stangs were roller cam, think the truck started around 94 ish for the 351's unsure if the truck 302's went earlier or same time. For a budget build might try finding a bronco eec harness that was maf not speed density and swap the bread box intake and heads for 5.0 explorer stuff. Be a noticeable bump in performance on the cheap.

Yes, I did. Got them from Summit Racing. Engine is still in pieces, lots of other crap wrong with this thing. All the emissions stuff was rusted to crap so I am deleting it..... No more smog pump, no more EGR, all it will have is a O2 sensor......

What casting are your heads? E7TE? If so, those studs will work just fine.
