Hey all I've been working on a 97 12v cummins build for 3 months now as far as fuel, turbo, and exhaust manifold goes I've replaced everything. The engine isn't completely assembled so i dont know how everything will work together. I've rattled off the build to a friend of mine and he seems to think the fuel won't support the turbo I'm using. For the turbo I'm running a single Borg Warner SX400 with a 76mm compressor wheel and a 100-95mm turbine(i think?), 5 inch down pipe, Steed Speed 12v T4 manifold(supposedly +30% flow), heads are ported 1/4in over, and thats it for turbo and exhaust. For fuel I have an Air Dog FP100 lift pump(gonna run it at like 50-60gph), oversized delivery valves, Fuel plate from MKM customs, and BD Diesel 45hp injectors. He seems too think that I should have gone with at least 100hp injectors. So do you guys think it will spool decent under 2k RPM? Any input is appreciated!
