1998 12v question

this is kind of silly but I love my bells and whistles, when I first start my truck my finger only dings 2 times when I first got it it use to ding 5 times. I had my brother hook up the seat belt wire under the seat Becuase the light was driving me insane. So whenever I wear the belt the light finally goes off. But could that somehow be causing my finger to not ding 5 times.

the wires that go into the seat belt clip to turn off the seat belt warning light.

I think the wires may be crossed hell idk lol I'll look at it tomorrow after I get this tractor running.

like when i start the truck the light goes off then comes on when I'm not buckled in. but i don't get the 8 dings

It's evidently his finger that's doing the dinging.

Whole deal sounds kinda dingy to me.
