My buddy is having fuel problems with a 6.2 he just got. Put new IP on it and ran fine all air out of system. The guy he bought it off of put one of the green electric pumps on it. He was wondering if it's pushing enough fuel to even supply the system..

Depending if the pump is cranked up.
But even factory, they're fairly marginal.
I used the normal v8 gas one, which seemed to work.

I run a green mr. gasket pump and my truck does just fine. All you need is around 6-8 psi for the engine to run. If your buddy just put on a new IP and is now having trouble, I'd say his problem is with timing.

You need 8psi at idle and min 2 wot.

A OEM 93 6.5 TD pump is OK just needs a good solid 12v.

30gph is adequate

I run a walbro frb 5
