good morning/afternoon/evening.

I am a diesel rookie.
I have been building hotrods and muscle cars since the early 90's
in December, I did some trade work for a 2001 powerstroke 7.3
the previous owner ran it without water and blew a head gasket.
after a crap load of parts and time, ive finally have it licked and the truck runs great!
so good, that ive retired my 1971 F250 gas truck from hauling cars.

since then, ive had so much fun with this tuck, that I bought a 91 F350 with a 7.3
for super cheap not running, played around with it and got it dialed.

sold that for a profit, and bought a 90 F350 not running for dirt cheap.
changed the glow plug module, and lift pump and dove it for awhile.

one of my friends saw what I had done to these three and he bought a 87 F350.
well he really didn't know what in tarnation to do, so he made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

I traded my 90 F350 for his 87 F350 with a 6.9L that he had pulled the engine and trans out of
to try to learn. guess he didn't have the will power.
he also gave me about 3 grand, and a 97 7.3L PSD with an AODE.

I put the 87 together with the 6.9 because I couldn't find a harness for the 97 PSD.
well, that 6.9 was junk! it would get up to operating temp and drop oil pressure and knock like nothing else.

I found a 94 7.3 non powerstroke turbo engine, dropped it in over the weekend, and just got it to fire up today.

I still have a few things to do to it before its mobile.
but these trucks are a fuc%in blast!

now to those of you that havnt gotten tired of my ramblings, I assure you I wont post long pointless threads... just here looking for some advice!
