I changed the IP on my 6.2 and now the idle is high and I can't get it any lower. I backed the idle screw out all of the way, advance is not interfering, the wires aren't even plugged in to the high idle solenoid.

Any ideas? It's maxed out on adjustment.

Thanks.

I haven't messed with the fuel, it is returning all of the way. The throttle lever can't go any further... could timing screw with the idle speed that much?

I don't have a tach but I would guess it's idling around 1100-1200 haha. Definitely something up.

I'm not saying buy a new pump, but maybe Mel could give some suggestions.

Haven't seen the other gm guys around in awhile.

I turned the fuel down , no change. I have no idea what it could be.

Yep, 4l80e. Nothing looked off in the ip. Ups was ******* it during transit, i guess something could have been damaged internally.

Does it have the TPS on the pump?

Can't remember if the 4l uses it or not.
Does sound internal, being you've checked almost everything else.
