A drip pan is the easy way... Just remember to clean it often to keep the Nazis off your back....
89 SRW crewcab, Banks Sidewinder Turbo, 8 speed BTS E4OD with a Gear Vendors, Shifts smooth and positive with any load on it. Triple disc torque converter has 150 square inches of friction material, stock has just 25 square inches of material.Transcold Carrier pump helping out Moose Pump and just loven it. 4 inch Straight piped, hydroboost with a 1 5/16 inch master cylinder. 7.3 turbo upgraded motor, ported heads, intake & exhaust manifolds. ARP studs. Block sleeved on all 8. Mahle turbo pistons milled, are 24 to 26 thousands above the deck, then ceramic coated with Tech Line CBX. Line bored and balanced. Decked block. Each piston is 1/4 and 1/3rd gram of each others weight. "BB" injectors. Custom Rodney Red aluminum radiator and running cool. Now it needs my new Hypermax intercooler to help out the famous Moose Pump and a set of Moose Injecters thrown in just for giggles...Double FatMat inside of the crewcab... Nice and quiet too...

Well the trouble with the drip pan is i don't have an assigned spot so i could be parking anywhere, and the neighbor is one of the HOA Nazi's. She has already complained (to me not HOA) about how noisy my car is when i was working on it one time.

That's easy.Move out of the Socialist controlled area.I am looking for a place right now and that is the 1st thing I tell the agent.Don't EVEN try to show me a house or peice of land with a HOA.No one is going to tell me what color I can paint my house,That I can't plant a pink rose only a red one, that I can't work on my own privately owned vehicle in my drive way, etc. If I pay the bills and the mortgate then shut your mouth and go to hell.I HATE HOA with a passion and am slightly vocal about it......and my father is the President of the HOA in his nazihood.

Just park in the grass. They can't see the oil spots then.

I don't live in a neighborhood with a HOA, but my property is bordered on 3 sides by one. I know they hate my being here, I have the court documents to prove it. I've spent more money on lawyers defending the right to use MY property as I see fit than I care to even think about. They've tried to buy me out, but they only want to pay a pittance of what I have invested. I keep reminding them that my house, shop building, property, and everything parked on it are all PAID IN FULL, I'm not some transient passing through. It's going to take cold hard cash to get rid of me, not threats of suing.Everytime I end up in court to get them off my back, the price to buy me out goes up. I've been through the courtroom twice in the past 2 years, so far....another court date in March though. The judge keeps ruling in my favor, but they just can't get the message.

I would LOVE to find a peice of land like yours.Kinda like the guy I heard about a while back that bought a farm.Years later developers built up around him and the developments had HOA.Well, they tried to do everything they could to him like your did. Finally he got fed up with it and plowed his field under and started a pig farm since it was still legally a "Farm".I think they finally got the point.

    I have a few suggestions:

Vote with your feet and move out of Commiefornia
Fix the leaks or park on your lawn to camoflage them (course they'll probably bitch about that too)
Tell the jerk-off driveway Nazi to go pound sand

I hate HOA's with a passion. They've been popping up all over my town, and about every other year the liberals in my neighborhood start a movement to try and create an HOA in my neighborhood. If they succeed, I will be in court for a long time. I have about 3 or 4 inoperable vehicles(not too pretty either) sitting in my yard, I often work on one of my operable vehicles, My truck and my firebird are both fairly loud, and I've been known to make spontaneous landscaping changes in my yard without caring what anybody else thinks. I wouldn't change my behaviour just because some HOA started, in fact, I would antagonize them further.

If somebody wants to live in an HOA, fine, go do it, I can see why some people might like that type of thing, but don't bring it to my property.

Reminds me of the time I went to North Carolina on a freebe golf trip for 3 day's. All I had to do was look at some property (Fairfeld) and they tried to sell you a lot. The guy was insistant on selling, so I told him I would take at least 4 of them, he wanted to know what I was going to do with 4 of them, told him I raised hog's back in Ohio and that is what I would do when I retired there . No Sale.

If the Deep Purple doesn't work, you can get serious and try Muratic acid as long as you don't have a special finish or sealer on your concrete. You may want to dilute it a little bit and try on a small spot before just dumping it on.
