1986 Ford F-350
2WD
Dually
6.9 L International Diesel
4 sp. Manual Trans.
~145,000 miles

Parts that are new(er):
Clutch
Slave Cylinder
Tie Rod End
Brakes
Front Tires
Electric Brake Controller
Rear Two U-Joints
Fuel Return Lines
Glow Plugs
All Fluids and Filters Changed
CD Player

What it needs:
Rear Tires (getting a little wore, still work fine)

Truck runs and drives out great. Never had to plug it in, even when it was -5. Rear tires are getting wore. I love this truck but was recently given the oportunity to upgrade to a newer one ton, so, old Tweety goes up for sale.

I don't know how to get pictures iinto my listing from my computer. If anyone wants pics just email me or go to the Classifieds section at www.carreview.com . I have an ad with pics there.

Thanks for getting that link up 69. It's a great truck. I'd LOVE to keep it but my insurance company wants to jerk me around and classify it as commercial. That's what I get for going with the cheapest insurance I could find. Don't tell anyone, but I'm a Chevy guy and, ulp, this truck is really turning me towards this era Ford. I'd even trade the truck for a 3/4 or 1 ton single wheel with the 6.9 of the same era.

Well, it just so happens a buddy of mine owns a farm with a certified scale on it. Now my truck weighs 5,600 lbs. They never tell you all you need is a weight slip and a signature to change the weight on your title. At least on mine because it never had a weight on the title originally. Truck al;ways had 24K plates on it so it never got weighed.

i took my truck and switched it to commercial insurance and it saved me 2400 a year in insurance from switchin it from personal to commercial so maybe it would be better to change it to commercial,, i like that truck and would love to buy it

Well, she's still up for sale. I've been driving it every day the last month. Purrs like a kitten.
