I have a 1986 2WD F-250 SRW. I am planning on doing a Sterling 10.5 swap in the rear to get disc brakes with a parking brake. The wheel pattern changes, I can either drill it out or change the front to match. I have a line on some 17" Eagle Alloys in 8x170 that I could put on the truck, or I can drill the rear axle to keep my factory 16" Alcoas.
My question is - can I put a super duty front brake rotor (and calipers/bracket if needed) on my existing front suspension to change the pattern or is there more to it? I've been searching for a bit now to find an answer, but most info is regarding 4wd swaps, something I am not doing at the moment. Any information is appreciated!
