@03wr250f What is the current price for your fan setups? Also, I think in another thread/forum/FB I saw you had a power steering cooler setup that was interesting, can you post a pic if my memory of that is correct? Looked like some version of a Derale cooler.- BlindAmbition

A turbo won't give you more MPG, but it'll make better use of the fuel you're already burning via improved power. Best thing you can do is swap out that C6 for a ZF5 if you want mileage.- BlindAmbition

'86 Extended cab project thread
Ordered a set of injectors to match the pump, got those installed as well. Also had to make a throttle cable plate since I cut off the mount when I welded the intake tubing. Made progress tig welding steel, oddly had an easier time welding aluminum than steel.- BlindAmbition

'86 Extended cab project thread
Finished the intercooler setup, ordered a new 2 gallon tank and got it mounted. Filling the system took forever, had to add a Schrader valve to bleed the air. Got it all plumbed and the pump mounted.- BlindAmbition

@michwalt15 Your local library may offer access to the Chilton libary, which is much more extensive than the manuals. Or find a library system that offers such access, like Los Angeles County, and sign up using a random address within their zone. It'll work for access for at least a week or...- BlindAmbition

4 speed to ZF5 swap
97 is nice, should be a ZF5 S5-47, probably mid ratio as well. 5.15:1 first I think instead of 4.14:1. Make sure it is from a diesel, 460 housing won't fit without drilling holes in it- BlindAmbition

085 piping is quite different from those pictures. Could be an 085 air housing, but piping is 088.- BlindAmbition

4 speed to ZF5 swap
Took me a day having never done any transmission work before. I made some stands to lift the rear as high as I could, blocked the front wheels, and dragged the old trans out with a floor jack. C6 crossmember also works. Definitely get a new bearing, that LUK kit one is garbage. Kit is otherwise excellent- BlindAmbition
