So much work and ingenuity. It looks great. Wish we were closer and I'd paint it for you. And I noticed an old Troy Bilt Horse tiller in one of the pics.. got one too!
I love my old vehicles (most of the time). I can't imagine owning something new and impossible to work on at home (paying labor at a dealer!). Even worse, an electric vehicle.. that's a compromise almost as ridiculous as giving up guns.
Check these out!

87-89 Rear tank sending unit...
Well, here's what I rigged up. Blowing through them they seem like they will flow an adequate amount of volume. That's $30/ft submersible hose and those filters have a very fine mesh screen for whatever little sediment I missed in the tank.
Couldn't a guy use an in tank filter like this instead of the brittle showerheads?

Great ideas.
This is what's incredible to me, I put this sending unit in 3yrs ago.. look how rusty! The inside of the tank was OK, except for rust off this and (3yr old) showerhead chunks floating around.
Check out the fuel water filter too. It's after the FSV unfortunately..
Thanks for the info, they say it's for diesel but don't list the ohms, only $22
