Intermittent crank + start switch Again? + push button

I’ve found this also. Lots of starter issues come down to arc burn and bad connections. Take the starter connections loose and clean them all. Wire brush, sand paper and a dob of dielectric. Never hurts to run an extra ground if she’s a greasy pig.

    THSIM9’s 1991 F250 Project

Great progress man. It’s giving me flashbacks of the 84 big block square body I just got “finished” 95%. I’ll be starting on my greasy old f250 shortly. Keep it up. Thanks for taking us along.

If this deal wasn’t 15 hours from me my wife would be sooooo pissed. “What the f*ck is that”

    Fresh build, smoke, stumped

In my life things of this nature only happen when the deadline is tight. If it’s just a project truck the parts are rearly an issue. I hope he can get them situated and back to you quick.

    Fresh build, smoke, stumped

I’m sorry to hear your having such a hard time with this. If it’s any help reading through this is helping me diagnose the many issues with my shut box. Lol. At least there’s that.

    CDR Valve.

Thanks for the heads up. I should have mentioned it’s 15/40 T4. Makes sense that running a heavier oil would help with the blue smoke. Once I get this hard shifting trans worked out I plan to run the **** out of her. That’ll help. Lol

I just put T4 in it.

    CDR Valve.

So I have done some reading in regards to this unit. With my 330,000 mile honey I’m assuming it needs replaced although I’ve yet to remove and clean/ inspect it. When reving the truck with the air cleaner removed I can see a jet of vapor firing into the intake manifold. It’s quite a stream of...

    Looking for insight

The 93 I just picked up only has a small bit of bubbling on the cab corners. The whole underside is rust free with exception of a little light oxide around the seat bolts. It came from California. Smells like communism and air fresheners inside. It’s a good builder.

    Is it my alternator?

Sounds like a bad alt to me. I’d check all your connections and jazz first. Doesn’t take much shmuu to create a lack of connection. I’d be willing to bet more than one Starter has been replaced over a bad connection when the fella was sure it was a bad starter. Same applies with the alt...

So what did you do with your truck today?

I guess the delivery dude wanted to see what’s in the summit box? 3” exhaust builders kit. Guess I need to count the pieces. Y’all should see the bird snot straight pipe someone bubble gummed on this poor truck.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Yea, seems the figures I find are all over the place. I have a new inline micro filter coming tomorrow. I’ll pump out what’s measuring as extra.

So what did you do with your truck today?

E4od? I did a fluid change the other day. Internet claims 17 quarts of ATF. Seems high. I added 12 and it’s reading really high on the stick. I’ve not started the truck, it’s just been sitting in the driveway. I have the shallow pan. Any of you fellas care to clear the mud from...

Another E4OD flashing OD light thread

Thanks for keeping this up to date. My 92 has a hard shifting issue I’m trying to work through. I’ll be referring to this thread a few times I’m sure.

    Looking for insight

I’ve recently picked up a 92 F250. She got pretty high miles so I’ll be shopping for some interior parts, cluster, switches, dash pad along side the mechanical stuff I’ll be updating or repairing. Any of you guys have a go to for Ford parts? I’ve recently rebuilt a 84 Scottsdale and found...

So what did you do with your truck today?

Few things in life can match the love of a good dog. Just wish their battery life was as long as ours. Sounds like he’s got a good human taking care of him.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Picked up this high milage honey a couple weeks back. I’ve been topping things up. Oil change, flush the cooling system, dropped the tranny pan, new filter and fluid, pressure washed the underside. Summit delivered new springs, body bushings, I beam bushings, rear spring shackles and...
