    Is it a tilt column? If it is, there's a U shaped piece of metal in the key linkage that'll break, you can still key on sometimes but the throw isn't long enough to run the starter.

    Alright so with my engine build I installed new valve cover gaskets. I haven't even hit 100 miles yet and they're already weeping oil everywhere. Is there some sort of ancient Chinese secret to making these suckers not leak? My valve covers are not bent or anything.

    @93iditn I'm cleaning my garage out and I found one of the spare psom's I grabbed when I was fixing my in laws truck, the chipset is good but the odo screen is broken. It is something that can be swapped out if you're interested in it.

    As long as those rock bits are something that fell onto the plate from outside the transmission, its probably fine. Darkened fluid like that is just old fluid, and it doesnt look like a glitter bomb so thats a bonus. If you're going to go manual swap, I'd suggest that one.

    My probe is installed between 6 and 8, and I fully agree its probably a little bit of both, gauge out of calibration a little and restrictive exhaust. Still haven't heard from Justin, I'll try giving him a call again when he opens shop.

    If you use a constant use relay line cubey suggested, as long as its rated for the amperage of your desired use for key on devices, itlll be fine. Won't be hard to get, most are rated at 200 amps. I don't think you'll use that much.

    If its orange rtv, thats a red flag for me. Ive never had good luck with car parts that had orange rtv squishing out of mating surfaces.

    You can desolder the eeprom chip that stores the mileage and tire size and move it over. That is also what I did. You could just reporogram the tire size and send it too, both are good options.
