Is this block cracked?

I'm currently pulling a 7.3 from a scrap yard. Got the valley pan off and noticed this area near the front of the block looks like it may be damaged. First time in one of these. Advice requested.

Looks like a flaw in the casting. Probably nothing to worry about.

That is way to dirty to see a crack. Clean it up and then look for cracks. It would be pretty unusual for a crack to show up in that area.
