    Well, my truck is just too loud for my tastes. It’s a small open flow muffler, so it doesn’t change the sound much, just makes it a little quieter. But engine noise is the real killer in that truck, needs more/better cab insulation…

    That has been my experience as well. When my 86 F250 was still TTB, the close proximity of the big filter to the pumpkin made me kinda nervous… but after Dana 60 swapping it, there are now no clearance issues

    My turbo’d truck is of course much different, being a Hypermax… but fwiw 17 psi max @1200 EGTs, 80 mph foot on the floor from 0, with Russ injectors set to 2100 psi, and Moose Diesel Junior Pump, 6.0 PSD air filter system, Holley Blue lift pump, R&D return rails and manual fuel selector valve.
